Introduction to the Education University of Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) was formed in 1992 by the merger of five teacher training colleges in Hong Kong, and moved to its current Tai Po campus in October 1997. HKIEd currently comprises four schools: the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Education and Human Development, the School of Humanities, and the Graduate School.
The Teachers' College holds an event on campus every November.Zhang Haiyuan Indoor Sports FieldA "degree conferment ceremony" is held. The ceremony is usually held over two days in separate sessions, conferring approximately three thousand degrees, including Doctor of Education, Master's, Bachelor's, and Diploma degrees.
